With the development of wireless communication technology,the demand of good system performance and size reduction is high and growing.It is not only required to achieve the overall small oversize,light weight,but also to achieve low noise figure,multi-function,high power capacity.Conventional passive antenna and active RF circuit are separately designed,and then connected through the matching circuit.Because of the size and performance constraints,conventional design method is unable to fully meet the requirements of modern communication systems.The active integrated antenna provides an effective solution of the modern wireless communication systems.Based on the design method of active integrated antenna and integrated RF circuit,a miniaturized dual-circularly-polarized active receiving antenna and an integrated feed network are designed according to the requirements of specific project application.First of all,based on the demand of satellite data link communications applications,a com-pact double circular polarization active receiving antenna is designed.The active receive an-tenna is designed with a high-gain passive antenna and a low-noise-amplifier.The antenna is compact and only has an antenna size of 0.55?0×0.55?0×0.18?0.The proposed active receiv-ing antenna not only achieves the miniaturization of the antenna but also improves the connection efficiency among each device.Meanwhile,the in-band fluctuation of each RF performance is small.The active receiving antenna has a G/T value greater than-13.9 dB/K over the operating frequency band.And as a dual circular polarization antenna,it can simultaneously meet the requirements of a variety of polarization direction,which means it is suitable for a variety of satellite communications requirements.Secondly,based on the demand of ground high speed data link communication require-ments,an integrated and switchable high-efficiency power feeding network is researched and designed.The feed network is not only able to achieve wide-angle scanning coverage but also have the tunable characteristics of a phase-controlled electrical scanning array.The feeding network integrates the RF switch,phase shifter and power divider to make the overall struc-ture more compact,which meets the requirements of low noise,multi-function and high power capacity of the feeding system.Thirdly,a compact microtrip filtering power divider made of novel coupled resonators is designed,The filtering power divider is based on four microstrip resonators,and the resonators are designed as compact folded type to reduce circuit area.Also,they are well placed to achieve good isolation performance and filtering response.The filtering power divider has a small size and good simulated isolation.In the end,this paper discusses the shortcomings and the development direction of the designed active receiving antenna and integrated power-divider network.
