Left-behind children accounted for 21.88% of the total number of children in China.There were 68.77 million left-behind children up to November 2015,including 40.51 million in rural areas and 28.26 million in urban areas.With the transfer of rural to urban of left-behind children,there has been a new breakthrough in the problem of left-behind children in China.The popularization of communication technology such as network has given children and parents more opportunities to establish closer contacts and interaction.The design and research of children's accompanying robot is a start-up.Most of the robots don't differentiate between learning machine and accompanying robot.It has high value in use and social benefits about the expected results.Firstly,according to the current situation of the left-behind children in China,this paper analyses the actuality design of service robots at home and abroad to make it clear that the rural and the urban left-behind children are the target users of this study.Secondly,it summarizes the data and theoretical basis of the physiological and psychological characteristics,the connotation of interaction behavior,the principles and methods of interaction design of left-behind children aged 6-12 on the needs of the research content.Thirdly,desktop research was carried out according to the content of this study.On this basis,interviews and interactive research are conducted for rural and urban left-behind children.Users' experience feedback to interactive,physical operation,intelligent induction and other parts is analyzed when using products.Through the study of interaction behavior characteristics between target users and children's accompanying robot,user needs are excavated to find out the pain points of existing products and summarize the interaction design criteria of the robot.Then,this paper interprets the design concept of children's accompanying robot in detail.in order to concludes the principles of emotional communication,consistency and experience participation of the robot,this paper analyzes the functional requirements,operational requirements and product objectives of the robot on the feedback data.Finally,it summarizes the image of the target user in the way of creating personas,proposes the design scheme of the accompanying robot to practice the design concept and principle of the left-behind children's accompanying robot and make it further clear and rich.The research shows that maximizing the communication link function of the accompanying robot as a communication channel between the left-behind children and parents as well as related persons can effectively help the left-behind children to establish contact with others and help them grow up healthily.In interactive design,it is an important factor for the robot to better complete the key services for the left-behind children to establish a good companion relationship between them,improve the usage rate of the robot,and help children better understand the operation of the robot.
