With the rapid development of modern entertainment and the extensive requirements of communication functions,headset products as a convenient audio-visual tool which meet the needs of communication and entertainment,plays an indispensable role in modern life.It has a wide range of applications from aviation communications,to ordinary audio-visual music in life,headsets as a typical electro-acoustic conversion device,can communicate clear voice to both sides of the communication,but also can be a carrier of beautiful music with almost non-destructive sound quality.The users' requirements for headsets not only reflect on the volume increment but also high performance of sound quality of headset such as different acoustic parameters.However,technically,electroacoustic measurement contains not only circuit problems,but also complex acoustic problems,as well as subjective evaluation problems.From the aspects of equipment and technical system,with the development of stereo,digitization,intellectualization and high security,as well as the improvement of sound source,transmission,acquisition,processing,storage and conversion means,electroacoustic measurement technology has penetrated almost all areas of headset testing.Therefore,the headset electroacoustic testing system is developed.The research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the theories of transient response and steady state response analysis are introduced.Combined with the windowing functions which will be used for post-processing of headset electro-acoustic signal.Secondly,the system requirements are analyzed based on Crystal headset product spec which separated into two parts,microphone's and speaker's acoustic parameters.Then,the overall structure of headset electroacoustic testing system is brought out including the requirements analysis,the overall function design based on the theory of headset electro-acoustic signal detection.And the key part,the power module for ear simulator design is carried out.It also makes corresponding selection for other hardware of the system.For software design,combined with the specific ideas of the design,signal editor module,signal acquisition module,signal analysis module and signal post-processing are analyzed and designed.The design and implementation of the electro-acoustic testing system is based on SoundCheck software as the operating platform.And in view of the inconvenience of post-processing of SoundCheck for some complicated parameters'calculation,using Labview to redesign the function of post-processing for friendly interoperation and quickly getting test results.Based on the actual measurement results of Crystal,the system can provide accurate and reliable results for the acoustic parameters measurement of headsets.Through the system test,the results show that the system has a friendly man-machine interface,easy to understand parameters setting,easy to operate.It is suitable for collecting test data during the development and verification of headset products and provides a large amount of scientific data support for formulating the acoustic specifications of headset products.It is also suitable for the inspection and re-examination of the influence of various manufacturing problems on the acoustic performance of headsets in the process of headsets manufacturing.It should have a good application prospect.
