As a new type of computer control algorithm,predictive control has been developed rapidly in recent years.It has been successfully applied in industrial control with the characteristics of low model accuracy,simple calculation and excellent control quality.However,due to the difficulty of establishing the non-linear model of industrial process object and the continuous improvement of control requirements,the predictive control algorithm based on single model has been difficult to meet the control requirements of time-varying and large-delay systems.Therefore,the research on multi-model predictive control can effectively broaden the application scope of predictive control in the field of industrial control.To improve the control quality of complex industrial processes.Starting from the background and application development of predictive control,this paper briefly describes its development and application process.In the aspect of theoretical study,the dynamic matrix control(DMC)algorithm,the establishment of multi-model set,the calculation of weight and multi-model control are deeply studied,and the multi-model DMC algorithm is formed by combining the multi-model control idea with the dynamic matrix control algorithm.At the same time,the control parameters of multi-model DMC algorithm are given.Debugging method.In the implementation of the platform,the characteristics of the optimization control station and its components are deeply studied,and the corresponding software modules of the upper computer are briefly introduced.In this paper,the multi-model DMC algorithm is validated by numerical simulation.The key points in the process of realizing the algorithm based on the optimal control station are introduced,and the corresponding solutions to the disturbance problems in the control process are given.In practical application,by building a dual-tank experimental platform and using multi-model DMC module in the optimization control station to control it,the experimental results show that the control strategy using multi-model DMC algorithm has better control performance,which proves the effectiveness of multi-model DMC algorithm in solving complex system control problems.
