As a new computer aided design method,reverse engineering technology has been widely used in modern manufacturing industry,especially in the field of new product design and measurement.Therefore,how to improve the accuracy of products in the design stage is of great significance to the design of complex surfaces.In this paper,the reverse engineering design scheme of curved surface is studied,including curve and surface reconstruction technology and point cloud data processing technology.Imageware software is used to model the snap and analyze the error.The contents are shown below.1.Through the analysis of hardware and software implementation conditions and application fields of reverse engineering technology,the research results of experts and scholars at home and abroad are discussed,and the application direction of reverse engineering technology is defined,which lays a foundation for the follow-up research.2,through the commonly used reverse engineering measurement category analysis and research.Firstly,according to the content and technical conditions to be studied,the mobile bridge type three-coordinate measuring system is selected.Secondly,according to the shape of product parts and the precision requirements of setting,the measuring coordinate system,scanning boundary and path of parts are constructed.Finally,output data in the specified format.3.The reconstruction algorithm of complex surface,i.e.part building method,is studied.On the basis of the common NURBS curve and surface building method,the curve and surface reconstruction method based on equal arc length equalization is adopted to complete the reconstruction of curve and surface.Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of traditional surface reconstruction methods,a surface reconstruction method combining curve and point cloud is proposed.The effectiveness of this method is verified by the surface reconstruction of safety helmet.4.Reconstruction and error analysis of buckle surface based on Imageware software.Firstly,the point cloud data collected by the three-coordinate measurement system are processed to reduce noise;secondly,the angle culling algorithm is used to segment and simplify the data,establish a suitable snap curve,and reconstruct the snap surface on the basis of the curve;finally,the error of the surface model is checked and assembled,and the reconstructed surface is reconstructed.The buckle surface error is less than the required 0.2mm,which accords with the surface smoothness requirement and is well fitted with the opponent parts.Practice results show that this method can greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy of surface reconstruction.
