Applications Of Slot Antennas On Metal-framed Mobile Phones And Laptops

In recent years,in order to ensure the strength and beauty of electronic products such as mobile phones,laptops and other electronic products,manufacturers have adopted metal cases in their designs.Currently,the metal mobile phones usually use the metal frame cracks as the antennas or parts of the antennas.Also,most of the laptops do not use metal shell as antennas,the antennas are set in the clearance area.Besides,the performance of antennas in two-in-one laptops is bad.Therefore,considering the structural strength and the beauty of appearance,it is important that metal-framed mobile phones cancel the metal seam and the laptops use the metal frame as antennas.Ths paper firstly introduces the development of mobile phone antenna and notebook antenna,then it introduces the research topic that the research on the slot antennas of the mobile phone with unbroken metal frame and the laptops and briefly introduces the research status and significance.Afterwards,it theoretically introduced the related parameters of the antennas.Some common forms of antennas are coverd in the paper.Slot antennas are used to study for the mobile phone with unbroken metal frame and the laptops.The specific steps of research are as follows:Firstly,analyze the environment and clarify the spec of the antennas,then select the scheme according to the environment,including pattern and feeding of the antennas.The model is established through the simulation software.The antenna parameters are analyzed and optimized in the simulation.Finally,we do fixtures to test and the performance of antennas meets the general requirement.In this paper,we provide the slot antennas of the mobile phone with unbroken metal frame and the laptops.The former covers all frequency bands of GSM,CDMA,WCDMA,TD-SCDMA and LTE,while the latter covers the frequency band of WLAN.Both of them have high efficiency and achieve technological breakthroughs in new forms of mobile phone and NB antennas.
