The booming of Internet technology is driving the advancement of the times.To meet the needs of technology development in the new era,data processing technology is also continuously completing self-innovation.As a result,the concept of cloud has emerged.Cloud computing technology has become a model in computing services provided over the Internet due to its low entry barrier,high reliability,and outstanding flexibility.Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises,it plays a significant role in helping to complete its core business while excellent reducing production costs.In the field of cloud computing,the virtual ecological field created by OpenStack is showing its strong vitality,continuously activating diversified industry types and diverse business scenarios,and promoting the continuous development of open source cloud computing technology.At the same time,it has set new scientific standards for this field.Highly reliable and scalable storage systems are critical to the OpenStack cloud platform system,supporting the normal operation of multiple components in the Openstack cloud platform system.This paper intends to use Zettastor's block storage device as the backend storage for OpenStack's glance,nova and cinder components,to improve the performance of OpenStack and the diversity of the block storage products.To reduce the cost later,this paper designed the corresponding middleware to realize the docking of OpenStack and block storage products.The main work and contribitions of this paper:1)Expanded OpenStack transmission mode,not only using the common iscsi transmission method,but also customized pyd transmission mode;2)Designed a dedicated interface between OpenStack and software-defined storage products to achieve perfect docking between the cloud platform and the storage backend.The private cloud service is OpenStack service,and the cloud platform mainly involves glance-api,nova-compute,and cinder-volume components.And automate the deployment of cloud platforms and software-defined storage products3)Solved some problems existing in OpenStack,including two points:solved the problem that multiple virtual machines are slow to start at the same time,and the OpenStack image file is uploaded to the storage background virtual file to occupy the actual storage space.
