Our lifestyles have been changed because of the rapid development of network and communication technologies.Nowadays, wireless broadband technology(Wi-Fi)is becoming the first choice for people to access the internet because of its unique advantages: low cost, convenience, etc. On the campus, the Wi-Fi network is integrating the teaching, research and life of teachers and students. The analysis of the impact of the Wi-Fi network environment on education and teaching has become a hot issue for researchers and educators at home and abroad.Among them, the analysis of students' online behavior and its role in content sharing and information diffusion etc.has important theoretical value and broad application prospects.Based on this,we collect the online information of students in a university in Henan Province based on access points(AP)to analyze students' online rules, and combined it with the SIR model to study the diffusion law of information in Wi-Fi networks. Therefore,it can provide theoretical support for the dissemination and control of information in campus networks. The main research of this paper is as follows:(1)Collect and organize student Internet Wi-Fi network data.We collect online behavior data of all students of a university in Henan Province for 28 days(four weeks). This includes attributes: user account,MAC address, online time, offline time, and AP name, etc. The data is cleaned by deleting missing values, statistically analyzing outliers, and regression method for noise reduction,etc.(2)Information diffusion law based on SIR model.Domestic universities have the characteristics of large population density, relatively tight space and relatively stable population. This is quite different from the university abroad. In this paper, the SIR epidemic infection model is used to model the dissemination of information on campus.Students are divided into three categories: message originator, message communicator and message immunization. The propagation of simulated information in flooding mode is studied. The transmission rate and transmission delay have practical significance for message forwarding and control.(3)Analysis of students' online behavior data. From the perspective of the student and the AP,the online duration, the offline duration, the incoming traffic and the outgoing traffic of each user are counted. From the perspective of the student and the student, the intra-contact duration and the inter-contact duration are counted. It is found that students' online has a strong regularity, which approximates the fitting of exponential distribution and power law distribution. This conclusion has theoretical guiding significance for the deployment of network equipment and the push of information.(4)On the basis of the above,we analyzed the role of strangers in the content forwarding process.Firstly, the students are divided into friends and strangers through intra-contact time.Secondly,an SF information forwarding strategy that takes social relations into consideration is proposed. Then, through simulation experiments, the advantage of this strategy in terms of loading, buffer occupancy and average hops of transmitted information is obtained. In this paper,we focus on three aspects research: propagation of information around campus SIR model, influence students' online behavior data analysis and transmission of information to strangers. The research content is displayed through the corresponding network model, relevant theoretical knowledge and simulation experiment results.
