At present,the flat-panel display(FPD)industry is in a period of rapid development.People are increasingly demanding FPD devices.From smart watches and mobile phones to notebook computers and liquid crystal TVs,the applications size of FPD are getting larger and larger.The manufacturing process of large-size liquid crystal display(LCD)is complicated.The requirements for production environment and processing accuracy are high,and the production capacity is difficult to break through.Finding defects in time and improving the yield of the panel are the key to ensure the production.FDP automatic optical inspection(AOI)instrument is mainly used for defect detection in the process of flat-panels production.Affected by the development trend of large-scale flat-panels,LCD put forward higher requirements for the resolution,positioning accuracy and stability of AOI instruments.The motion control system is the core of the instrument and an important basis for the control of the LCD inspection process.As the main controller of the system,MP2300 S is placed in the same motion network through the M-II bus technology with the IO module and servo drive unit,forming a distributed control system and realizing multi-axis synchronous motion control.Linear grating ruler is adopted as the feedback device of position detection,which is used to form a full closed-loop servo control system with MP2300 S,servo driver and motor to ensure the positioning accuracy and resolution of the system.According to the working process of the instrument,the MP720 programming software is used to realize the Sequential control of the LCD detection process by combining the ladder program and the motion program.The ladder program is responsible for logic control,and the motion program is responsible for motor movement control.The instrument is divided into normal working mode and engineering mode.The normal working mode is used for online continuous operation of the whole machine,and the engineering mode is used for system maintenance and debugging.Using industrial Ethernet technology,the communication processing program realized for the data exchange between MP2300 S and the human-machine interface(HMI),which is the basis for constructing the networked control system.
