With the rapid development of social economy and science and technology,the access control system has been increasingly applied in people's access control areas.Traditional access control system has become unable to meet the increasing security requirements of modern society,and the continuous improvement of the security of access control system has become a hot research topic.In recent years,with the rapid development of the computer technology,biometric identification technology has been widely used in many fields.Biometric identification uses biophysical or behavioral features to identify with a strong ability of anti-counterfeiting.And to some extent,it solves the problem of low identification ability and weak anti-counterfeiting ability of traditional identification.Thus,it has gradually become the main means of modern social identity authentication.Through analyzing various biometric identification methods,and finally based on the many advantages of palm vein identification,this paper designs a high security palm vein access control system with client-side based on ARM platform using Android operating system and server-side using X86 system for unified data management.This paper firstly expounds the access control system and analyzes the development history and technical defects and deficiencies of traditional access control system.And this paper also introduces the principles and advantages of the palm vein identification technology in detail and compares it with traditional access control identification and other biometric identification technologies.Many advantages of palm vein identification are displayed.Finally,a palm vein access control system with client-side based on ARM platform using Android operating system and server-side using X86 system for data management is implemented.The palm vein acquisition module of the access control system uses Fujitsu's Palm Secure palm vein identification sensor and ARM board uses lightweight Android system as client-side that interacts with the user to collect user information.Since the Android system itself is unstable and user information involves key information,to ensure user information security,the user information must be centrally managed on the X86 server-side.The client-side compares the data with the X86 server through the http protocol by reading the palm vein information,thereby notifying the access controller through the Wiegand interface to perform the switching operation.This paper also designs the user graphic interface and database structure of the sever-side of the access control system to facilitate users and customers.Finally,this paper carries out software and hardware tests on the access control system.After this research is completed,a palm vein access control system can be implemented with client-side based on CQA83 T ARM board and interacting with user through Android system,and server-side using X86 system for data management.It has become the first one to adopt All winner A83 T as the core processor.The device together with the designed software system can be used as an enterprise access control and attendance machine.The system provides users' with a higher level of security for authentication and has broad market prospects.
