| The software and information technology service industry concerns the overall industry of the national economy and social development.The rapid development of this industry will help build an innovative country,accelerate the transformation of economic development and the readjustment the industry.More and more software companies appear in the Chinese market.As an important channel for enterprises to raise capital,the capital market provides a way to obtain financing for software companies.The frequent occurred IPO audit failure cases recently,in which softwaretype enterprises have their own unique characteristics,thus form a unique IPO audit risk.At present,there are few cases of specializing in software enterprise IPO auditing.During the process of internship,the author participated in the IPO audit work of YXT software company.Therefore,the author hopes to gain some experience and enlightenment through the research and analysis of this case,and provides audit ideas and references for the relevant auditors engaged in the aspect of audit work.The case study conducted in this thesis is based on YXT software company,which is established in Beijing and is strongly supported by the government.Besides,it is also a software company listed on the New Third Board.During the internship process,the auditor followed the audit project team to this company for participating in its IPO audit work.To date,IPO audit of the software company is rarely studied,and most researchers mainly focused on failure causes of IPO audit,while this research is to study non-failure case of IPO audit of the software company from the perspective of the firm's auditors.The research in this thesis mainly analyzes the whole IPO audit project from the audit method selected by the auditors and the implementation of the audit process.In order to obtain the results,this study selected the modern risk-oriented audit and audit quality control theory,strictly followed the audit procedures and considered the special IPO audit risk of the software companies for auditing the YXT software company.The results showed that the audit risk of YXT software company can not be reduced to an acceptable level because of the large problems of itself,and thus its IPO application has to be postponed.The auditors,whom belonged to the accounting firm,only conducted a large number of audit adjustments on YXT software's 2017 annual financial statements,and issued standard unreserved reports.In this IPO audit project,the auditor maintain a high degree of independence throughout the audit process,strictly abide by auditing standards,and have strong comprehensive competency.Through analyzing the successful cases within the audit process,this study proposes a summary of the experience from the specific implementation process of the audit,the acquisition of audit evidence and the provision of auditors.The aims of this thesis is to summarize the relevant experience,analyze the audit cases,and provide reference and ideas for the auditors to conduct IPO audit project. |
