Research On The Extension Service Of Public Libraries Based On Cross-border Cooperation

There have been quite a few practices in public libraries at home and abroad.The public library is an important part of the public basic cultural service system in China,which plays a role in providing cultural services to readers.Many public libraries,however,simply carry out outreach services without seeking operational uniform standards and holistic mechanisms.With the rapid development of information technology,public libraries should innovate traditional practices,break through boundaries and innovate the content of extension services.Nowadays,the model of cross-border cooperation has been widely used in various commercial fields,and many public libraries at home and abroad have tried to extend the service through this model,and have achieved good results.The extension service based on cross-border cooperation can play a good role in improving the service quality,improving the satisfaction of readers and expanding the service range of public libraries.This paper divides the service space,service content and service time of domestic public libraries based on the practice cases of cross-border cooperation,sums up the operating mode of public libraries and bookstores,subway companies,cafes,express delivery companies,museums,art galleries,academic institutions,24-hour convenience stores and literary websites,and explains its necessity.The process of cross-border cooperation is not always smooth sailing and there are many unresolved cooperation dilemmas.This paper refers to some good practice cases in foreign countries,and puts forward some specific strategies such as setting up the coordination agency of cross-border cooperation,multi-channels to attract financial support,constructing the benefit balance mechanism of science,building the qualified talents of cross-border cooperation,so as to promote the development and optimization of the whole service of public libraries in China.
