The Internet industry has maintained a rapid development momentum for many years.Various network products have emerged in an endless stream,network data has become more and more complex,network traffic has grown exponentially,and network service providers have established their own data centers.In recent years,Software-Defined Networking(SDN)technology has gradually matured,and its flexible management and control capabilities,data plane and control plane decoupling characteristics,and the advantage of configuration simplification have attracted more and more manufacturers to use it to build data center infrastructure.While the SDN-enabled data center brings great disruptive convenience,there are also some problems that need to be solved.In this paper,three problems are studied.First,the SDN switch flow table storage hardware is expensive and the capacity is too small,resulting in overflow of the flow table.This has become a bottleneck restricting the processing power and reliability of the SDN data center;the other is the service function.We studied the implementation of the Service Function Chain(SFC).In the virtualized data center,the provision of network functions no longer depends on dedicated hardware devices,but software-based virtual network functions(VNF),and VNF can be deployed in any location of the network,this greatly reduces the cost of deploying and configuring network functions.SFC is a mechanism for chaining these VNFs in order,which enables the data center to provide services more flexibly and efficiently.The third problem is VNF deployment problem,deploy VNF in different location of the network,the impact on the network will be different,and the quality of service provided will be different.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)A comprehensive load balancing scheme is designed and implemented for the flow table overflow problem of SDN switches.This solution considers the link load balance of the data center network and the balance of the flow table of the switch to route the traffic.When the new flow arrives,the first load route is selected by the link load balance module,and then the switch load balance module is adopted to further screening to ensure that the final routing path load is small,and the switch with full load is not included.After simulation verification,our solution can achieve link load balance,while alleviating switch flow table overflow,improve the reliability of the network,and ultimately improve network throughput.Our solution is more global than the existing solution,and the solution requires less resource overhead.(2)Designed and completed the SFC solution in the SDN environment for the implementation of SFC.The solution is based on different scenarios and service requirements,and the corresponding service strategy is formulated.The service policy is implemented by the SDN controller in the form of a flow table,and the traffic is controlled to meet the required SFC.After simulation,our solution has achieved the corresponding functions.(3)For the VNF deployment problem,a VNF real-time deployment scheme based on path-finding algorithm is designed and implemented.This solution detects the load of the path and the flow table space consumption of the switch on the path to different server areas of the data center by sending probe packets at the entrance of the data center,looking for the path with the least load,the server area which the path lead to is the deployment location we chose for the new VNF.After simulation,the effectiveness of this scheme is verified.
