Domestic Telecom Company began large-scale construction LTE wireless network from 2013,LTE coverage from the initial urban coverage gradually extended to the rural areas,from wide area coverage to depth coverage,currently the LTE wireless network in the domestic city has been basically covered.Outdoor coverage levels are mostly above 90%.However the urban residential area is complex due to the wireless coverage environment,the cause of site radiation and site coordination difficulties.Overall coverage is not very good.The depth of coverage is generally poor.In the 4G wireless network era,due to the use of higher radio frequency band,single station coverage area is relatively small,antenna hanging height is also lower,so the around base station has not been able to solve wireless signal coverage in the residential area,especially high-rise residential areas of high-rise users,almost no wireless signal.How to improve the wireless signal coverage and the depth coverage of the residential quarter has been a difficult and urgent problem to be solved in the construction of wireless network.Based on the analysis of the current situation of wireless network coverage and the existing problems of 4G network,this paper proposes the construction ideas and methods of LTE wireless network in residential district.Research and analysis of the current main building methods and the common use of several types of wireless devices and beautify the antenna type.The for residential wireless signal propagation characteristics,through the link budget analysis,detailed study and analysis of the coverage of LTE wireless signals in different transmission power and antenna hanging high,for residential area network planning and site to provide the theoretical basis.Finally through a typical residential coverage case,according to local conditions,flexible use of a variety of construction methods,a detailed discussion and description from the network planning,base station site selection,equipment selection,signal simulation,construction design.investment budget and other aspects.It provides a good reference value for the construction of wireless network and the engineering design of similar coverage scenarios.
