With the rapid development of wireless communication technology and mobile communication technology,as well as the breakthrough of 5G related key technologies and the gradual formation of communication standards,the demand for spectrum resources is increasing day by day.At this stage,a large number of space services and mobile services have been deployed in the high-frequency band.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out early research on inter-system interference coexistence in 5G candidate frequency bands.This paper mainly considers the interference coexistence between IMT-2020 system and HAPS fixed service in 38-39.5 GHz band.Focus on the propagation characteristics within the 5G candidate frequency and the characteristics of the new communication mode of the high-altitude platform station communication system,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis and research on the key technologies,system characteristics,application scenarios and interference coexistence of HAPS system and IMT-2020 system in the 5G key candidate frequency band,constructs a system-level model and a transmission interference model between HAPS and IMT-2020,establishes a simulation platform,and performs related calculations and simulations.In view of the fact that the HAPS system is in the initial stage of research,this study has certain reference value for the design and deployment of 5G wireless communication system and HAPS system in the future.This paper summarizes the research contents of interference coexistence between communication systems,introduces the factors and methods to be considered in the coexistence research of common communication systems,and the system overview and key technologies of IMT-2020 and HAPS systems,then emphatically analyzes some factors that need to be considered in common coexistence research and the transmission model required by simulation.This paper mainly studies the co-frequency interference between IMT-2020 system and high altitude platform station system in the 5G candidate frequency band 38-39.5GHz.Based on the analysis of coexistence scenarios,topological structures,propagation models and system models of various systems,referring to the existing IMT-2020 system and other different systems coexistence research methods,a simulation method suitable for studying the coexistence of IMT-2020 system and HAPS system is proposed.Designs and implements a simulation platform which can be used for system-level interference coexistence.The paper simulates the interference process of IMT-2020 system and HAPS system as interference source and interfered source respectively,obtains the interference results under different scenes,and calculates the protection distance by comparing the interference thresholds.The results show that it is possible to achieve the deployment of IMT-2020 system and HAPS system in the same area on the basis of setting certain parameters and distance intervals.
