The personal safety of firefighters has become increasingly severe due to the high-risk and complex fire scenes.The development and application of fire-fighting robots can replace firefighters into the fire scene to carry out investigations,fire-fighting operations,etc.,and improve the fire-fighting efficiency and actual combat capability of firefighting troop.It plays an important role in ensuring the personal safety of firefighters.This paper first analyzes the functional requirements and technical performance indicators of new fire-fighting robots,Under the premise of determining the overall design scheme,The in-depth study of the overall system and chassis structure optimization design of the crawler fire-fighting robot was carried out.The dynamics modeling and numerical solution of the optimized crawler chassis under the conditions of flat driving,steering,and climbing obstacles are carried out.Based on the virtual prototype technology,the ADAMS is used to simulate the motion characteristics of the chassis running device under various working conditions.Dynamic simulation analysis is performed to verify theoretical calculation data.Based on theoretical analysis and simulation results,ANSYS is used to perform finite element analysis on key components to verify the rationality of chassis structure design.Based on the driving performance requirements of the fire-fighting robot,the dynamic simulation parameters are extracted,the design and calculation of the fire-fighting robot drive system are carried out,and the dynamic characteristics of the drive system under various working conditions are simulated by AMESim.Through simulation analysis,under different working conditions The dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic drive system verify the correctness of the drive system design and provide reference for further research and complete machine test of the hydraulic drive system of the fire-fighting robot.Finally,according to the new fire-fighting robot design scheme,the prototype istrial-produced,and the performance test plan of the crawler chassis is designed based on the simulation data.The walking performance and driving performance test of the prototype under various working conditions are carried out.The test results show that the performance of the new fire-fighting robot has reached the technical requirements,meets the practical application,and provides theoretical and experimental reference for further research of fire-fighting robots.
