At present,the communication industry is developing rapidly,and the signal coverage problem that comes with it is increasing.The demand for communication towers is increasing.The traditional communication tower not only has a long construction period,but also is prone to rework caused by installation errors during the installation process.The construction cycle will be further delayed;and once the traditional communication tower is completed,the height of the tower will be fixed,and it is not easy to make corresponding adjustments according to changes in the environment.Therefore,there is a need for a new type of tower that has a short construction period,is easy to install,and can be mass-produced.This paper proposes a new tower type-module combined communication tower,which is a new type of tower with a single tower section as the basic unit,which can be assembled quickly,easily disassembled and can be mass-produced.This paper mainly studies the following aspects:1.Based on the basic design criteria of communication tower,a modular combined tower is designed by using the stratified space truss method,and the combined tower unit is obtained.The modular combined tower is composed of different numbers and forms of the tower unit;2.The finite element analysis model of the tower is established.The wind load is taken as the main load.The wind resistance performance of the tower is analyzed based on the finite element method of SAP2000.The maximum stress of the tower section and the maximum displacement of the tower are less than their allowable values.The modular tower assembled from the tower section can meet the strength and stiffness requirements under the basic wind pressure;3.The earthquake intensity is 8 degree earthquake as the main load.Based on the finite element method of SAP2000,the seismic analysis of the combined tower is carried out.The stiffness and strength of the tower meet the requirements,indicating that the modular tower can have an earthquake intensity of 8 degrees.Normal service under earthquake;4.The effects of different combinations of tower sections on the strength and stiffness of the tower are studied,and a better combination is obtained.Through comparative analysis,it is pointed out that the modular combined communication tower can be used as a new type of tower for normal service.
