In the past few years,artificial surface plasmon polaritons(SSPP)at terahertz and microwave frequencies have received widespread attention in microwave devices and integrated circuits.This structural feature determines that it has irreplaceable advantages in the design of flexible devices,but currently there are few studies on flexible devices based on this structure.Nowadays,after more than half a century of development and continuous scientific exploration,various circuits such as flexible transistors,flexible electronic displays,flexible antennas,and flexible filters have been developed and put into commercial applications.At the same time,they are also dedicated to expanding the scope of their applications to more industry.The flexible circuit is characterized by a reliable connection between the microwave circuits in a bent state,it uses a flexible substrate and can be realized by conventional lithography manufacturing,and the process is simple and efficient and saves resources.In order to conform to curved surfaces such as soft biological skin,organs and tissues,the basic feature of electronic devices is that they have good flexibility.In this thesis,based on two SP units,the corresponding SSPPs flexible transmission line is designed.According to the design theory of coupler and power divider,a flexible controllable microwave coupler and a flexible microwave power splitter are designed based on the two transmission lines respectively.The physical processing and testing of two kinds of microwave devices have proved the feasibility and unique advantages of SSPP in microwave flexible devices.1.The concept of SP is combined with the detailed analysis of its theory,and the formation of surface electromagnetic wave in the medium-metal section is introduced.Combining SSP with this kind of ratio,combined with SSPPs principle of two-dimensional hole array in an ideal conductor,lays a theoretical foundation for the design of flexible SSPP devices.2.Briefly introduced the coupler and its design principle,studied the dispersion characteristics of the S-type cell structure,designed flexible SSPP transmission line based on this SP structure,and processed and tested,and further,used it for flexibility and controllable coupler design.Test results show that the coupling performance is insensitive to bending.3.The power divider and its design principle are briefly introduced.The dispersion characteristics of the H-type and U-type cell structures are studied.Based on this SP structure,a flexible power divider is designed and processed and tested.The test results show that its performance is insensitive to bending.
