The wireless network based on the relay transmission technology represents the development trend of the future network technology and even information technology.It plays an important role in improving user service quality,increasing coverage,temporary networking and monitoring of hazardous areas.The rapid growth of multimedia services poses severe challenges to limited wireless bandwidth resources.The advantages of multicast technology using the same resources while satisfying multiple requirements make it instead of unicast the main transmission method for video wireless transmission.Scalable video coding developed to meet different user needs and network differences has also been widely used.Therefore,scalable video multicast transmission under multi-relay network has great practical significance.The existing work is mainly focused on optimizing the quality of scalable video streaming services,but the energy efficiency problem has been insufficiently studied.Wireless nodes are usually powered by limited battery power,so unreasonable use will cause premature service interruption.The problem is even more pronounced when transmitting video resources with high bandwidth and high power consumption.The characteristics of scalable video multicast transmission with high load,inter-layer video dependencies,and multi-user aggregation in multi-source and multi-relay networks make it more complex than other relay networks.Due to the need to create multiple multicast communication paths,unreasonable relay selection will not only cause waste of network resources and premature interruption of the current transmission link,but will further affect subsequent multicast path creation.How to reasonably select relay nodes and design effective transmission schemes is very important for efficient use of limited energy and bandwidth resources.The EESVM scheme simply depends on the link life in the process of relay selection,which causes link roundabout and wastes a lot of node energy and bandwidth.In order to further improve the energy efficiency,this paper proposes a Destination-based Energy-Efficient Scalable Video Multicast(DB-EESVM)transmission scheme based on the EESVM scheme.When relay selection is performed,the neighbor relay node of current multicast tree is found to push forward with the target node and have the maximum link lifetime based on the geographical location information.Further,considering the transmission performance of the network when the node bandwidth is seriously insufficient,the article proposes an improved scalable video multicast transmission scheme IDB-EESVM that prioritizes multicast group that can achieve highest received data rate or have smallest minimum transmission distance for the impact of random transmission sequences of multiple multicast group in the DB-EESVM scheme.The simulation results show that the DBEESVM solution has less energy consumption than the EESVM solution.With a 9% reduction in energy consumption,the total received bits increase by 7%,improving service quality and energy efficiency,while having met more requests.In the case of a serious shortage of bandwidth,the IDB-EESVM solution has achieved better results in terms of quality of service,energy efficiency and the number of fulfilled requests compared to DBEESVM.
