It's necessary to make detailed and accurate design and analysis of deployment of antenna during design stage due to special working environment and limited human intervention.As a typical deployable antenna,the AstroMesh antenna is taken as the research object in this paper.Based on the analysis of driving force for deployment,an optimal design of cable-net structure and storage process of driving cable is carried out to improve deployment performance.The details are as follows:1.Considering the influence of cable-net structure,the driving force for deployment is analyzed.Firstly,the work done by acting force of cable-net on the truss is derived.Then the influence of the cable-net structure on the deployment is analyzed from the perspective of work.Take the work solved above,the dissipated energy caused by the friction exists between pulleys and driving cable and the kinetic energy of truss into accout,the expression of driving force is derived according to the principle of energy conservation.The driving force for 2m-aperture antenna is solved according to structure parameters of antenna.Finally,further analysis of influence of cable-net structure on driving force is executed.2.To reduce the peak value of driving force,an optimization method for cable-net structure based on dynamic analysis of deployment is proposed.Firstly,the influence of height of back net and cable tension of cable-net structure is analysed.Then the optimization model with design variable of height of back net and cable tension,with objects of minimization of the peak value of driving force and stiffness of deployed antenna and maximization tension ratio is built.Finally,deployment experiments for 2m-aperture antenna are completed.Meanwhile the validity and rationality of optimization method is verified by comparing simulated results to experimental results.3.In order to reduce the peak value of deployment power and the impact of deployment,an optimization method for storage process of driving cable is proposed based on dynamic analysis of deployment of antenna.Firstly,an optimization model with object of minimization deployment power and with design variable of control parameters of length curve of driving cable which is described by bezier curve is proposed.Then corresponding to storage process of driving cable with optimization and that without optimization,the deployment experiment for 2m-aperture deployable antenna prototype is completed.Finally,the validity and rationality of optimization method is verified by comparing simulated results to experimental results.
