With the continuous development and innovation of IoT technology, relevant technologies protocols have become increasingly mature. In the field of LPWAN,technologies represented by NB-IoT and LoRa are also gradually put into use.Due to the environmental particularity of WAN,a variety of batteries are generally used as power supply modules,so higher requirements are put forward for power consumption of hardware system in the IoT.This paper focuses on the low-power Internet of things, and studies it from both the hardware and software aspects to reduce the system power consumption. The main work is as follows:Firstly, the related technology of power consumption of the computing circuit system is studied, the relationship between the power consumption of the CMOS circuit and the working frequency is derived, which is also the theoretical basis for studying system power consumption. This paper analyzes the characteristics and implementation principle of low-power hardware technology represented by NB-IoT module, compares the low-power algorithm based on status(DPM,Dynamic Power Management)and the low-power algorithm based on performance(DVS,Dynamic Voltage Scaling),presents the low-power performance and applicable scenarios of the algorithm.Secondly, based on the abstract process model of LPWAN,a DPM algorithm suitable for the environment of the LPWAN is proposed. In view of the dependence relationship between processes in the process model,a process-oriented RD-LEDF algorithm is proposed.Combined with the discharge characteristics of the battery, the RD-LEDF algorithm is optimized to reduce the system power consumption, reasonably use electric energy and extend the battery working time. Finally, the time complexity, space complexity and low power consumption performance of the proposed RD-LEDF algorithm are analyzed in detail. The DPM algorithm in the process model of the LPWAN is implemented based on the general hardware module and its low-power effect is verified.
