In recent years, due to the rapid development of networks and multi-agent systems, more and more researchers have made in-depth research on the related issues of multi-agent systems. With the increasing demand of practical engineering for the system,it has become an important research direction to study how the multi-intelligent system can achieve stable state in a limited time. The finite-time stability algorithm is an indispensable part of it.In this paper, the finite-time stability analysis and control of discrete multi-agent systems are studied. The finite-time stability of discrete-time multi-agent systems with or without communication delay and with the same time-invariant communication network delay is studied.Firstly,finite-time stability of discrete-time multi-agent systems without communication delay is studied, the finite-time stability criterion is given by using the finite-time stability correlation theorem combined with Lyapunov method and Linear Matrix Inequality(LMI)knowledge. The feasibility of the proposed theory is verified by numerical simulation with matlab software.Combined with the finite-time stability correlation theorem and the knowledge of LMI,the criterion that the system can be stable in finite-time is given. Then, the finite-time stability of discrete multi-agent systems with constant communication delay is considered. The network predictive control method is used to compensate the communication delay. Finally, the finite-time stability criterion of discrete multi-agent systems with time-delay is simulated to verify the validity of the theory.
