The Design And Implementation Of The Evaluation System For College Teachers Based On Rough Set

Along with higher education popularity,the evaluation of teachers is an important way of reflecting the reality of teachers and promoting teaching reform.Therefore,the scientific,equitable,and objective evaluation for teachers will be one of the major tasks to improve the quality of teaching and promote sustainable development for teachers and universities.Considering the dominance on processing data of rough sets,this paper proposes an improved attribute reduction algorithm based on relative indiscernible relation,gives the evaluation indexes about the evaluation of teachers and evaluation process.After proposing demand analysis and the design of functional modules,this paper develops a teacher evaluation system based on rough set.The main work of this paper is as following:(1)Studies an improved attribute reduction algorithm based on relative indiscernible relation.With analyzing the existed attribute reduction algorithm,this paper gives two different way of computing the importance of attribute based on indiscernible relation and relative indiscernible relation.After that,this paper describes the conditions of producing reduction and studies a corresponding improved attribute reduction algorithm;(2)Designs the evaluation process based on rough set.This paper establishes college teacher evaluation indexes through analyzing the existed indexes.Then,this paper deals with the evaluation data by using these methods,such as collecting data,comprehensive evaluation and attribute reduction,etc.This process has achieved the aim of introducing rough set into the optimization of college teacher evaluation indexes.Besides,along with demand analysis and the design of functional modules,this paper accomplishes the design task of this system;(3)Develops the college teacher evaluation.After introducing the develop environment of this system,this system divides the system user into four roles,such as student,teacher,professor and administrator.Some main functional modules,such as student module,teacher module,professor module and administrator module,have carried out based on role definition.These functional modules detail the whole process of teacher evaluation.Besides,it will help us to find the major factors influencing teacher evaluation by introducing rough set into the analysis of evaluation data.The college teacher evaluation based on rough set,can conveniently collect and deal with evaluation data,is an interactive evaluation system that can reflect the reality of teachers from different views.By comparing the evaluation results,this system can give reasonable advice for teachers about the existed problems.
