With the continuous improvement of power transmission and mobile communication infrastructure,the size,position and number of holes in tower components become an important inspection object in quality inspection.At present,manual visual inspection is mainly used to examine the hole making quality of tower components in China.However,the method is not only affected by objective conditions and subjective factors,but also prone to misjudgment or missed inspection.The efficiency is not high and the automatic on-line detection can not be realized.Therefore,it is urgent to design and develop the automatic inspection system of the hole shape and position size of the tower member.Among them,machine vision technology and electrical control technology are used.The information of hole making on the surface of different types of iron tower connectors is extracted in order to provide preliminary preparation for information matching and other inspection operations.The main contents of the project are as follows:(1)Based on the working environment of iron tower components,the whole structure and testing flow of the system are designed,and the hardware selection and software processing of machine vision subsystem and electrical control subsystem are also given.The algorithm optimization and interface design are studied in depth.(2)According to the characteristics of image acquisition,the image preprocessing method is designed to extract the information of hole making position on the surface of iron tower.By combining with the MATLAB software toolbox,the image is grayscale and marginalized.(3)In the algorithm,through the true roundness screening area,the nonlinear fitting method is used to make the calibration plate model,and the minimum value is obtained.(4)The machine vision monitoring system for hole making of iron tower components is built in laboratory environment,and the feasibility is demonstrated from two angles of accuracy and accuracy.The information extraction and matching method of tower components in this paper can accurately and effectively complete the on-line automatic detection under the function of triggering and alarm execution provided by the electrical control subsystem.
