Ancient trees and famous trees are witnesses of history and have high ecological,historical and ornamental values.In the process of protecting these ancient trees,the traditional method of manual monitoring cannot timely and effectively collect the tree growth data,and it is difficult to carry out large-scale summary analysis of the data.Therefore,it is necessary to develop an ancient tree information collection device that can continuously measure tree growth data and can automatically upload data and deploy flexible and low-cost instruments.Ancient tree information collection system,which is composed of ancient tree information collection equipment,gateway equipment and back-end server,can collect,process and analyze tree growth data quickly and efficiently through informatization.This paper researches and implements ancient tree information collection equipment and wireless Mesh network routing protocol.The main function of the information collection equipment is to use relevant sensor modules to collect data on soil and air temperature,humidity,and tree inclination angle around the growth of ancient trees,and to process,package,and encrypt the collected data and upload it to the server.In the old tree information collection system,several gateway devices are networked to form a wireless mesh network to complete the data relay.The information acquisition equipment adopts Lo Ra wireless communication technology to transmit data.The data is first sent to the wireless mesh network part in the old tree information collection system.The data is finally sent to the background server for processing after multi-hop forwarding in the network.In this wireless mesh network,all nodes transmit data through Lo Ra wireless communication technology.For the characteristics of stable topology structure and low network load of the wireless Mesh network in this system,improvements are proposed on the routing establishment process of the AODV routing protocol and the addition of backup routes.The process of establishing the improved AODV protocol is completed by the source node and the destination node.After receiving the route request packet sent by the source node,the destination node broadcasts a special route reply packet(S_RREP).The added backup route is established along with the main route during the node route request.The backup route is characterized by storing the shortest route information that reaches the destination node through another neighbor node.In this way,in the case of a host route failure,the node can enable backup routes to forward packets.Finally,simulation experiments are conducted on the improved AODV routing protocol and compared with the traditional AODV routing protocol in protocol overhead,end-to-end delay,and packet loss rate.The improved AODV routing protocol outperforms the traditional AODV routing protocol in terms of end-to-end delay and packet loss ratio and is basically consistent with the traditional AODV routing protocol in terms of protocol overhead.The ancient tree information collection system composed of ancient tree information collection equipment,gateway equipment,and back-end servers can realize full automation from data collection to data display and analysis and can provide data support for subsequent scientific research.The software and hardware designed in this article all use modular development methods to facilitate system upgrade,maintenance and development.The prototype equipment of the system has been completed and it can already run in a laboratory environment and achieve the design goals.
