This paper focuses on the dual-band horn antenna.This paper first introduces the background and significance of the dual-band horn antenna research and the domestic and international research trends of dual-band horn antenna.According to the design content of this paper,the basic theory of radiation theory and design index,multi-mode horn antenna and corrugated horn antenna are discussed in detail.The paper mainly completes the following work content:1?the paper expounds the horn antenna dual-band technology of two kinds of different structure forms,the research analyzes the nested type dual band horn antenna and a total mouthpiece type dual band horn antenna design principle and performance.A nested L/C double band horn antenna and a c-band multimode horn antenna are designed respectively to analyze its performance.Based on this,this paper studies the design of the two-band loudspeaker antenna,which is based on the two frequency bands of L/C and X/Ka,and presents the specific design scheme,and the simulation analysis is carried out.The gain of two dual-band horn antenna in L band is greater than 12 d Bi,the gain of C band is greater than 21 d Bi,the gain of X band is greater than 22 d Bi,and the Ka band gain is greater than 27 d Bi,which meets the design requirement.2?In L-band,the antenna size is reduced and the sidelobe is lower in the pattern of the antenna.In C-band,using the moment circle transition section and integrated design of variable structure of opening angle dual-mode horn antenna technology,improves the pattern,and makes the antenna structure more compact,which further reduces size;In X/Ka-band,using the variable aperture angle dual-mode structure and the corrugated horn technology,realizes the lower sidelobe level and cross polarization,better pattern and so on to further improving performance,optimize the dual-band antenna characteristic at the same time.3?In order to realize the dual polarization of C-band,the orthogonal mode transducer(OMT)is designed,and the transmission characteristics of each feed port are simulated and analyzed.The reflection loss of the two ports of the orthogonal mode coupler is less than-15 d B,VSWR is less than 1.5,and port isolation is greater than 45 d B.The test results of the OMT are basically in accordance with the simulation results.In order to realize the high degree of isolation of the L-band transceiver antenna,the measures of isolation plate and choke slot were put forward,and the isolation degree was increased by 15 d B.
