Wheel alignment parameters mainly include wheel kingpin back inclination angle,kingpin inclination angle,wheel camber angle and wheel front harness angle.The traditional contact wheel alignment parameter measurement method has some shortcomings,such as complicated operation,low detection efficiency and difficult system maintenance.It has been difficult to meet the needs of rapid detection and maintenance of modern automobiles.Therefore,the non-contact and fast detection of wheel alignment parameters is of great significance to the adjustment and maintenance of automobile wheels.Based on the principle of stereo vision measurement,this paper presents a measurement principle of wheel positioning parameters based on binocular vision.The main work of this paper is as follows,firstly,the principle of visual measurement of wheel alignment parameters is studied.The influence of wheel alignment parameters on vehicle performance is analyzed.The measurement method of binocular stereovision and the calibration method of vision system are studied.Secondly,the measurement model of wheel alignment parameters is established.The wheel kinematics model of the wheel alignment parameter detection system is deduced,and the measurement models of wheel front harness,wheel camber,kingpin camber,kingpin camber and wheel rotation angle are established based on the wheel kinematics model.Then,the specific implementation scheme of wheel alignment parameter measurement system and the optimization of system structure are determined.The hardware and software design of the measurement system are designed.Finally,the feasibility and accuracy of the system are verified by the camera calibration test and wheel alignment parameter test.Combining with the development trend of wheel alignment parameter detection,this paper studies the universal key technology of computer vision.A measurement system of vehicle positioning parameters based on binocular vision is developed and designed.The research results provide design basis for the knowledge theory of wheel alignment parameters and the application of computer vision.
