Binocular stereo vision technology is one of the important technologies in computer vision field,it is based on parallax principle,and we can use this technology to gain three-dimensional information of the object.In this paper,it takes the prototype development of three-dimensional gray digital image acquisition and display system,which is based on binocular stereo vision technology,as the center,including hardware,algorithm,software and experimental.In the respect of hardware,I have designed hardware platform of binocular stereo vision system. In the respect of algorithm,by researching the methods of camera calibration carefully together with pinhole camera model,I give the method of camera calibration,which is based on projection transformation matrix,including procedure and result.In the respect of software,it contains PC and under-bit machine procedure.In the under-bit machine's procedure,it controls CMOS image sensor to get the information of image and besides it also controls FPGA and SRAM to complete the task of image pre-processing(hardware algorithm of extraction of target points) and image transmission(serial port).In the PC procedure,the acquisition of image information and display,image processing algorithms, computer coordinate of three-dimensional point and part of camera calibration method which is based on projection transformation matrix are included.In the respect of experiment,according binocular stereo vision technology and hardware platform of binocular stereo vision system,I measure the coordinate of laser spot,I also analyze measurement results.All of the work can reflect in chapterⅡ,chapterⅢ,chapterⅣand chapterⅤ,we can learn that the basic function of the platform is carried out primarily.
