With the rapid development of integrated circuit technology and electronic information technology,the architecture of modern radar signal processing has changed.Currently,the radar signal processing platform based on high-performance digital signal processor,such as DSP and FPGA,has low versatility and repeat utilization.The architecture of software-defined radar that meets real-time,scalability,programmability,scalability and reconfigurability,has become a new direction of technology development.The thesis studies design and application of algorithm components for software-defined radar,which has good practical value in engineering.Based on the development of radar signals real-time processing platform and software-defined radar technology investigated,the development necessity of algorithm components in the software-defined radar system is put forward in the thesis.The hierarchical architecture and architecture features of the software-defined radar are elaborated.Moreover,the design method for software-defined radar system is proposed,which is based on high-performance general-purpose CPU hardware platform.And advantages of development for algorithm components based on CPU hardware platform are also listed in the thesis.The design requirements and custom-designed structure of algorithm components for software-defined radar are analyzed.Meanwhile,the development tools of algorithm components based on general-purpose CPU hardware platform are introduced,which includes the development environment,the development language and the underlying library called.In addition,based on the proposed component design structure,the thesis also carries out model design,engineering logic implementation,logic verification and real-time performance analysis for conventional radar signal processing algorithms.At the same time,according to the requirements of specific radar,the system architecture of software-defined radar based on the CPU hardware platform is set up.Throughput speed,real-time performance and delay of the system are tested to verify the feasibility of the system in the thesis.Aiming at the limitation of software-defined radar signal processing system in transplantation between cross-platform and cross-system,the preliminary exploration of software radar component design based on VSIPL specification is carried out in the thesis.The VSIPL standard specification is outlined.The features of the algorithm development and development process based on the VSIPL specification are also described.Moreover,taking FFT algorithm as example,performance tests and analysis of the algorithm component are carried out in the thesis.As the result,the thesis proposes the design and application structure of algorithm components for software-defined radar based on the VSIPL specification,which could be used as a design reference for the software radar component technology.At the same time,in the process of demonstrating the software-defined radar signal processing system based on the CPU hardware platform,the processing performance of the algorithm components are evaluated and verified in the thesis,such as throughput speed,real-time performance and delay of the system.The overall power consumption,delivery cycle and other performance indicators have not been considered.Therefore,the other performance indicators of the system need to be evaluated and verified in the follow-up of the thesis.
