In recent years,along with the swift development and popularization of informatization,the reconstruction has been always augmenting.Especially,the large-scale Internet online application and the application of the growing demand for cloud computing,they constantly drive the scales of data center to expand.As a consequence,one hundred thousand magnitude,even millions of server data center are born.As the core infrastructure of national and IT enterprise,data center plays a strongly supporting role.Its continued development also promotes the big step of a new generation of IT industry to move forward,such as cloud computing,networking and wide application of big data technology.However,the energy consumption of data center faces a big challenge,i.e.,if we are not aware of the energy consumption problem,it is very likely to become the bottleneck for the data center to continue.Related analysis elaborates that energy consumption of IT system in the data center,accounts for the highest,reaching 50%,which includes energy consumption of network communication between devices and active IT devices themselves.Although there are lots of data center energy-saving strategies,less measures for energy-saving target of IT system interior.Therefore,based on the overall energy consumption of data center,with a brief analysis of non IT system energy consumption,this essay mainly concentrates on the energy consumption problem of the IT system in the data center.Through further refinement of the theory analysis,this paper mainly explores various energy-saving strategies,in terms of the switch as the core and the server as the core of the topology respectively.Simultaneously,we are in the hope of putting forward some practical algorithms in the level of network routing.To sum up,the main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)In the second chapter,this paper will find out the core concerns about energy consumption,which firstly carries out the careful analysis constituting the energy of data center.In the energy consumption structure of the IT system,the energy-saving schemes on the IT devices itself,are mainly described in the form of survey reviewing,hoping to summarize the energy-saving measures for the IT devices themselves in recent years.Such as server terminals,switches and routers.Besides the research on energy-saving strategy of IT facilities,this paper also focuses on the problem of mutual communication between diverse devices.The scenarios will be set in either switch as the core or the server as the core of the network topology,in order to propose distinctive routing algorithms.(2)In the third chapter,this paper presents energy-saving routing strategy of network topology in the background of switch as the core.Through the modeling and analyzing of typical topology,we may find out two points,which comprises the decreased number of active IT devices and the shorten delay of communication.Ideally,three designed algorithms are relatively good interpretation of the idea by means of simulation.According to the results of the experiment,the third algorithm named path-aware is more sensible to be put into real environment.(3)In the fourth chapter,this essay mainly focuses on energy-saving routing schemes,which are under another kind of topological structure represented by BCube.The raised algorithm is intended to enable the energy-saving measures between server and the network communication.Finally,in line with the results discussion part,we illustrate the core idea of greedy searching-paths algorithm.
