With the development of modern computing and communication technology,the high data rate to high speed and high quality random number generator.Until now,there has been a large number of random number generator based on chaotic,but all of these processes in the electrical signal,so their interest rates will last a bottleneck for electronic signal processing.In this paper,we use chaotic laser to achieve efficient random number generation at high interest rates to overcome the "electronic bottleneck"".But the whole optical random number generator is the use of chaotic laser signal processing in the light field,and ultimately generate high-speed all-optical random number.Now,we have a plan for sampling,and optical quantization is still not mature.This paper mainly carried out about all-optical random number generator and its quantization introduction,physical properties of the saturable absorber and its measurement method research,main work is as follows:1.Introduced the research of random number and random number generator.2.Comparative analysis the current true random number generator in the quantization part(analog to digital conversion),using a saturable absorber as the core components of the all-optical quantization scheme.3.Theoretical analysis the factors influencing the physical characteristics of saturable absorber,and analyze the different saturable absorber on the physical properties,the influence of measurement method and introduces its main physical characteristics.For the future use of saturable absorber for all-optical quantization.4.The saturated transmisson curve is obtained by experiment,and under different conditions is studied through experiments in different incident light pulse repetition frequency,for example,the center of different incident light wavelength,the transmisson of different saturable absorber are studied,such as number and observe the change of the saturable absorber's transmisson curve,finally obtained the different modulation depth of the saturable absorber transmisson curve and the final transmission curve is suitable for all optical quantization.5.Finally achieved in different transmisson curve of the saturable absorber experimental results are analyzed and the experiment is improved and simulation,make it meet the requirements of all-optical quantization,and its future application in all-optical quantization is discussed.
