With advances in technology,optical fiber communication technology has emerged from optical communications and has become one of the main pillars of modern communications.It plays a decisive role in modern telecommunications networks.In the optical fiber and cable production process,due to the impact of the production process and the environment,will lead to the existence of different types of surface defects,which will directly affect the life of the product.Rely on artificial flaw detection,this method is labor-intensive,inefficient,and difficult to adapt to large-scale factory production needs.At the same time,the manual detection method has great limitations in actual use,making the test results unreliable.In order to reduce the unqualified optical fiber cable products entering the market and affecting the communication quality,it has become an effective measure to use the computer vision system to carry out automated defect detection.At present,domestic optical fiber defect recognition system is still in the mature stage of R & D.Aiming at the problems existing in the recognition of optical fiber surface defects,an on-line identification system is designed in this thesis to realize the real-time detection and management of optical fiber surface defects.The dissertation firstly studies the basic methods of object-oriented system design,and the WinForm graphical interface design based on.net,and introduces the related technology of CCD linear camera.Then,it discusses in detail the improved defect recognition algorithm based on FCM in the system.The algorithm push-down process and experimental analysis results are given.Then,combined with the actual application scenario of the system,the requirements of the surface defect identification system for fiber optic cable are analyzed,and the main functions of the system are analyzed and designed through the system use case diagram,sequence diagram,activity diagram,etc.,and the module division of the system is given.The detailed design of the system module is carried out,including the logic and algorithm implementation of the module;then,the development environment for the surface defect identification system of the fiber optic cable is described,including hardware and software platforms;finally,the functions of each module are realized in the form of code and The system was tested.
