For a long time,underwater communication is always a difficult problem.As a communication method used for dedicated application,trunking communication can be widely applied on land.In this paper,we combined the two communication methods together,making exploration on multiple aspects,including the underwater environment,characteristics of underwater acoustic propagation,route selection of underwater trunking network,power equalization,realization of trunking application.The first part makes introduction on theoretical fundamental of underwater trunking network.We analyzed underwater sensor networks,architecture and functions of underwater trunking communication systems,as well as studied some routing metrics and common routing algorithm.We made mathematical abstraction of trunking communication system using graph theory.This part sets the theoretical fundamental for later study.The second part makes simulation of underwater channel,as well as making exploration on related performance.We modelled the underwater channel according to the points of attenuation,noise,SNR,depth of water,multipath,and doppler frequency shift.Combining with our theoretical analysis,our conclusion supports the later work on the simulation of underwater point to point data transmission using MATLAB.By doing so,we prove the feasibility of underwater transmission,as well as summarizing the underwater channel-specific characteristics,which serves as the basis later conclusion on the requirements on underwater trunk ing communication.The third part pays attention to graph theory based underwater trunk ing routing algorithm.We studied the weakness of commonly used routing algorithms when applied to underwater environment,we design routing selection algorithm specific to underwater trunking communication environment,as well as proposing the power equalization algorithm that meets the requirements of underwater trunk ing network.Later,considering the requirements of single-calling,group-calling,mass-calling and high robustness specific to underwater trunking communication,we proposed a multi-limitation conditional routing algorithm under the context of trunk ing model.Lastly,we came up with solution on routing enhancing algorithm when multiple nodes exist.All of the studies are supported by corresponding simulation results.
