As an important part of medical informatization construction,medical image visualization technology has been a hot research topic.In "Internet +" new formats,the traditional image visualization system based on C/S architecture gradually shift towards the Web,the current image visualization system based on B/S architecture is more the Active X plug-in technology and Flex or Java Applet technology,etc.The user need to install the necessary in the browser plug-in to interact operation,increasing the burden of the browser.The new digital medical imaging system to produce the image data type rich,large amount of data,a scan to produce hundreds or even thousands of picture,for all the medical imaging network transmission and storage system in the technical architecture,medical functions and display mode(multidimensional)information processing,communication and storage has brought the huge challenge.In recent years,with the development of new Web technologies such as HTML 5,most of the B/S architecture visualization system has achieved the 2D image processing and Web GL-based 3D image rendering,but H5 and Web GL for medical image processing functions is limited,not fully information fe edback image,therefore,need a new approach to the development of medical image visualization system based on Web.To meet the needs of development and technology,this paper presents a zero-footprint of cloud computing on medical image visualization sys tem,based on B/S architecture,combined with the new Web technologies such as HTML 5,thin client,zero-footprint,cross-platform,image visualization system for modern browsers.System provides for medical image data processing and rendering,using WCF a s a Web server and based on VTK image rendering a bridge between the development of the communication middleware server,ensure the realization of the function of communication.In addition,VTK parallel computation is adopted in the image processing part of the system,which improves the efficiency of rendering calculation and verifies the feasibility of remote and cloud-based medical image visualization.
