In recent years,discrete-time singular system of quantized control problem has been attracted the attention by the experts and scholars. With the development of singular system until now,it has very rich and perfect theory systems. With the rapid development of digital information technology, the quantized control achieved fruitful research results.Although discrete-time singular systems quantization research has important theoretical significance and practical application value, the results of this field is still very incomplete.Based on the Lyapunov stability theory,by using linear matrix inequality(LMI)method, the quantized control of discrete-time singular system are studied. The research mainly include the following two parts:(1)The problem of static output feedback control for uncertain discrete singular systems is discussed in this section. One new necessary and sufficient condition for the uncertain discrete singular systems to be regular, causal and stable is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequality(LMI)approach.Sufficient conditions are proposed for the existence of static output feedback controller in terms of strict LMIs.A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.(2)The problem of quantized feedback control for discrete-time singular systems is considered in this part.Firstly,by defining a quantization dependent Lyapunov function, one novel sufficient condition for the discrete-time singular system to be admissible is derived in terms of the linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Then,a sufficient condition for the existence of the quantized state feedback controller is proposed in terms of strict LMIs.Finally,a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
