With the rapid development of mobile communication technologies and people's increasing network requirements,Ultra Dense Network(UDN)and Device-to-Device(D2D)communication technologies have received extensive attention. The ultra-dense network increases the network capacity, spectrum efficiency, and user experience by deploying a large number of Low Power Nodes(LPNs)and referring to D2 D communication technologies, but it also brings serious network energy consumption problems. In order to solve the increasingly serious problem of network energy consumption, this paper starts from two aspects: base station energy efficiency and user terminal energy consumption.First, relevant research was conducted on ultra-dense network technology and D2 D communication technology. The architecture and application scenarios of the ultra-dense network, two kinds of base station sleeping algorithms, and the network architecture of D2 D communication were introduced. The D2 D communication process, working mode, and Follow the selection method.Aiming at the problem of high energy consumption of base stations in ultra dense networks,a centralized base station sleeping algorithm based on non-neighborhood relation clustering is proposed.Firstly, the algorithm divides the low-power base stations without user direct switching relationship into clusters based on non-neighborhood relationship criteria. Then, according to the average energy efficiency of base stations in each cluster and the positional relationship between the user and the base station, the algorithm respectively sets the potential dormant base station decision mechanism. With the base station operating mode decision mechanism, all clusters in turn execute the intra-cluster decision mechanism.Simulation results show that the sleeping algorithm has good network performance.Based on the sleeping algorithm of the base station,an energy-saving path selection algorithm based on the D2 D relay of the user terminal is proposed for the problem that the transferred user terminal causes an increase in energy consumption due to switching to the macro base station during the execution of the sleeping algorithm. The algorithm first considers the relay link conditions for the network types to which the surrounding relay users belong. Then,on the basis of satisfying normal communication, the total energy consumption of the whole relay link, the energy consumption of the relay user, and the access effective rate are limited, and the optimal one is selected under the condition that the overall link energy consumption is minimized. The path of the access network. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the overall link energy consumption and achieve the purpose of energy saving for the user terminal when the relay link is in normal communication.
