Due to the largest number of Android mobile phone users,the combination of board game APP and robots has become a hot research topic.From the perspective of assisting teachers of educational institutions in teaching chess to students and facilitating chess lovers' appreciation and promotion of chess,this manuscript combines Android phones and small robots to innovate and transform the traditional chess game system.A system is proposed in which the mobile and the robot can play synchronously.In order to design and implement this system,the overall hierarchical structure and functional requirements of the system are studied and divided into three major components: mobile applications,wireless communications,and robotic arm control platforms.The main research contents and innovations are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the Android platform,using the Eclipse IDE,Android SDK and learned theory to design and implement mobile application.The article mainly studies the interface layout and display,Bluetooth connection and real-time communication,the data structure of the board and chess pieces,the control of the robotic arm and other modules.It also studies the basic search,advanced search and heuristic algorithms,and combines them to optimize the sequence of game moves generation in the search process.Finally through coding and debugging,they form an application that can play normally and can control the robot arm wirelessly.(2)The technical advantages of WiFi and Bluetooth are compared,and the Bluetooth wireless communication function of the system is realized.Based on the antenna design theory and characteristics of the Bluetooth band in the system,a high-quality circularly polarized micro-strip antenna that can be applied to the Bluetooth module is designed.At the same time,this antenna was processed into a real object and actual measurement verification was performed.(3)The specific structure of the six-degree-of-freedom robotic arm control platform was analyzed.The working principle of the servo and the control method of the robot arm were studied in detail.And in combination with the Android mobile application,an instruction for communication transmission is generated so that the mobile terminal can control the robot arm to complete the entire set of actions of the two players.Finally,the overall and each part of the system were tested several times through the real machine.The main functions of each part were realized,and the system as a whole reached the original design intention and application requirements.In the chess machine system,smart phones and Bluetooth wireless communication replaced the traditional PC-side wired communication method,which reduces the system's size and cost,improves the system's portability.This system is very convenient to promote in chess teaching institutions and chess enthusiasts.
