Wireless Body Area Network(WBAN)uses sensor nodes deployed on or in the body to form a wireless local area network,which collects human body physical information for a long time.As a new branch of wireless sensor networks,WBAN has great application value in telemedicine,sports training and military security.However,WBAN's energy is supported by battery,and the energy is very limited.Therefore,under the condition of limited energy,optimizing the energy of WBAN to extend the life of the network has theoretical research value and practical application significance.Based on the research for communication standard IEEE 802.15.6 protocol of WBAN,this thesis conducts relevant optimization for the problems of human body shadowing and energy waste caused by idle listening.The optimization of the network retransmission policy reduces the influence of shadow effects on the network communication;the optimization of the wake-up interval reduces the idle listening time of the sensor.First,considering the influence of shadow effect on the wireless body area network,a cross-layer retransmission strategy is proposed.When the transmission fails,the receiver judges the failure reason according to the signal characteristics of the physical layer,and feeds back the judgment result to the sender.For different failure reasons,the sender adopts different retransmission strategies at the MAC layer to increase the success rate of data frames for retransmission.By increasing the success rate of retransmission,the waste of energy generated by repeated retransmissions is reduced.Simulation experiments show that the cross-layer retransmission strategy can increase the success rate of frame retransmission and reduce the power consumption of the node.Secondly,aiming to reduce the time of idle listening in the WBAN,a dynamic sleep mechanism is designed.The mechanism adopts the work mode with sleep and awakening,it references the preamble sampling protocol as well.The mechanism adjusts the wake-up interval of the network node according to the dynamic sleep algorithm.According to dynamically adjust the wake-up interval of the nodes to reduce the idle listening time,WBAN reducs the energy consumption and achieves the goal of extending the service life of the nodes.Experiments show that the dynamic sleep mechanism can effectively increase the service life of the nodes.
