With the high-speed development of society and economy at home, and the globalization of the world economy, the logistics and transportation have been developing quickly. As one of the modern transportation modes with wide development prospect and including a variety of high-tech,air transport industry develops quickly. In the last few years, with the enhance of the people's quality of life and the increment of the national economy, the concept of time is enhanced and people's life rhythm is speeding up,and higher demand for the quality of air transport service. In addition to security arrived at the destination,it demands comfort and fast at the same time. The transportation market starts from the pure pursuit of quantity, and begins to shift to double pursuit of quantity and quality. Therefore, higher requirements are put forward on the quality and quantity of air transport services.Flight delays have been the focus of the civil aviation transport industry.Especially in recent years, the growing problem of flight delay has affected the healthy development of civil aviation transport industry.Flight delays directly affect the operation order of airport system and bring severe challenges to airport resource scheduling. In the case of flight delay, the gates as one of the core resources of airports, how to be assigned quickly, safely and efficiently is an important and meaningful research topic. This paper focuses on a domestic airport, analyzes the gate scheduling problem based on flight delay, and establishes the multi-objective model of the delay-oriented gate scheduling. The main contents of this paper is as follows.First of all, this paper summarizes the achievements made by scholars at home and abroad on the problem of gate scheduling, these studies are classified into three categories:single-objective research method,multi-objective research method and the research method considering flight delay. The ideas and methods are analyzed respectively, and their shortcomings are pointed out.In this paper, the problem of gate scheduling and flight delay is deeply explored, which leads to the research topic and research significance of this paper.Secondly,on the basis of learning relevant theories, the types and constraints complexity of gate scheduling, the reasons of flight delay and it' impact on gate scheduling are analyzed. This paper investigates and analyzes the gate scheduling problem in the situation of flight delay, and understands the most urgent concern of the public.Design a multi-objective model based on reducing the number of flight assigned to the apron, reducing the disturbance of the original plan and reducing the time for passengers take to get to the terminal, the constraint conditions of the model are set. Moreover, the complexity of the model and algorithm are analyzed, and the solution is designed for the model.Thirdly, because of varied intelligent optimization algorithms that can be used to solve the problem of gate scheduling, after analyzing the typical tabu search algorithm and genetic algorithm, this paper selects a new algorithm, the extended artificial raindrop algorithm(ARAe),to solve the model. The optimization process of ARAe is deeply analyzed and summarized, and the optimization scheduling algorithm based on ARAe is designed, including the design of coding, initial population, main operator and algorithm flow. Finally, using matlab to carry out simulation experiments, the experiment data including the actual flight data of a domestic airport and some data about the gates estimated by using Google Earth, the result of this experiment is analyzed and evaluated in detail with the aim of this paper,it indicate that the results have intended effect, and the model and algorithm are reasonable and useful, which can improve airport operation efficiency and improve passenger satisfaction.
