Airy beam has been rapidly much attention in the fields of particle control,vacuum electron acceleration,medical and wireless laser communication because of its unique properties of lateral accelerat'ion,no diffraction and self-recovery.Airy beam can effectively suppress atmospheric turbulence compared to other beams in achieving long-distance transmission,and its coherence became smaller during the transmission process,becoming partially coherent Airy beam.In this paper,the expansion and drift of partially coherent Airy beam in atmospheric turbulence have been investigated,and compare them with Gaussian beam.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral formula,the beam expansion expression of partially coherent Airy beam in the atmosphere was deduced,in addition,the numerical simulation and analysis of partially coherent Airy beam in the atmosphere were carried out.(2)According to the classical beam drift model given by Andrews and phillips for all turbulence intensity,the drift variance expression of partially coherent Airy beam under Tatarskii power spectrum was deduced by combining the cross-spectral density function and extended analytic expression of partially coherent Airy beam and the influence of different turbulence intensity,beam initial radius,coherence and wavelength on beam drift was analyzed.(3)Comparing the expansion and drift of partially coherent Airy beam and Gaussian beam under different transmission conditions,the results show that the expansion and drift of partially coherent Airy beam are smaller than those of Gaussian beam under the same conditions.Results show that with the increase of transmission distance,partially coherent Airy beam propagation in the atmospheric turbulence extension and drift happens,the greater the value of the initial radius and turbulence intensity,the expansion of the partially coherent beam Airy was seriously,the main lobe will gradually expand,side lobe will gradually disappear;The smaller the initial radius and wavelength,the larger the drift variance of the partially coherent Airy beam.The attenuation factor is a unique parameter of the Airy beam,and as its value increases,the expansion and drift variance of the Airy beam is larger.The experimental results were consistent with some simulation results.
