Founded in 1897,the commercial press has played a pivotal role in the Chinese in modern and contemporary history.The commercial press is the publishing agency Chinese published a long history in the industry,plays a very important role on the development of modern communication China culture.Founded in March 1904,the "Oriental Magazine" is the influence of the Commercial Press published the history of publication.It is known as "a database of modern Chinese history","a knowledge giant","a magazine magazine" and so on.The eastern magazine was published in March 1904 and finally published forty volumes and 819 periods in December 1948.It has crossed the major historical periods of the late Qing Dynasty,the revolution of 1911,the 54 Movement,the war of resistance against Japan,and the war of liberation.For 45 years,the Orient magazine has published a large number of book ads.Most of these books are published by the commercial press.Through the study of these advertisements of books,one can clearly understand the Commercial Press' s growth path,two of these books is also printed advertisements according to the development of history,the three is to understand the development of modern advertising design books,four is through the study of these books on advertising Chinese understand modern publishing history.This article hopes that through the study of the book advertisement of the Orient magazine,we can make a little effort to the design of the book advertising in the publishing world.At the same time,I hope to see the history of modern publishing,and hope to help the research of the history of modern publishing.
