With the rapid development of Internet information technology and its accelerated penetration into various industries,medical treatment and the Internet of Things have merged,and medical automation is gradually becoming a trend.After many years of development,the traditional hospital information system has maintained a high utilization rate in the top three hospitals in China.The main function of the system is to collect,transmit,store,and manage data created by hospital medical activity through computer hardware and software and network communication technology.This greatly simplifies administrative work and the management of daily affairs and improves the overall efficiency of the hospitals.However,the process of automatic data collection of vital signs is still a weak link in the hospital information system.In order to improve the accuracy of vital sign data gathered during medical activities,simplify the collection process,and improve the efficiency of data acquisition,we investigates IT solutions related to vital sign data acquisition based on the medical IoT,which enables paperless hospital rounds and the collection of information during bedside inspections.Furthermore,we discuss the ways in which the acquisition of patients' vital sign data has evolved from traditional hand-copying and transcription to automatic entry with handheld wireless mobile devices.Focusing on the key technology of the vital sign data acquisition system based on the Internet of Things,we research the design and implementation of the process of acquisition,communication,storage,management,display,and docking of vital sign data on the foundation of Bluetooth data acquisition instruments.The main contents are as follows:In this paper,we analyze,based on the hospital's existing information system environment,the necessary requirements of the vital sign data acquisition system and design the overall architecture and functional modules of the software platform of the vital sign data acquisition system.Firstly,the article introduces the communication principle of the automation collection of vital sign data based on Bluetooth Low Energy and HTTP protocol.Then,the database table is logically analyzed and designed,and the relational and time series databases are used together to achieve the storage and management of large-scale vital sign data.Based on an SSM framework,a server architecture and a nurse station management system are designed and developed,and the connection principle between the server and the HIS introduced.Finally,the system is tested to show that it can be operated stably and normally,and the automatic collection process of vital sign data can be realized,and time series database like Influx DB is superior to relational database like MySQL in large-scale time series data storage solutions.The innovations of this paper are as follows:1.The software platform of the vital sign data acquisition system adopts the separation mode of data model,controller and view.Each part is independent,and at the same time,they are mutually connected,coordinated and unified.This substantially improves the efficiency of development work,and will bring great conveniences to maintenances in the future.2.The database adopts a relational database and a time series database in a combined manner.The relational database stores the business logic data of the system while the time series database stores the patients' large-scale vital sign data.At the same time,the big data of vital signs,which has been stored in the database,has great medical significance in the era of big data and can make great contributions to human biomedical research.
