In the study of the phase change memory(PCRAM),in the process of phase change memory simulation is an important and indispensable link, the simulation results, can not only reduce the cost, improve work efficiency, but also conducive to the research and development of phase change memory. As a result,a high practicality, high speed,multi-function phase change storage simulation platform is very important to the development of phase change memory. This article proposed a high applicability PCRAM simulation software platform which is based in concise C++ language to satisfy the demands of PRAM simulation. In the first.Program flow chart is determined according to the simulation principles of the PCRAM electro-thermal performance. In the aspect of calculation, finite element network partitioning method is adopted to divide the memory cell into large hexahedron?tetrahedron?fine hexahedron because of the huge difficulty in the whole solution area. The solutions of the partial differential equations which is according to the PCRAM simulation principles will be got through this method. In the second.Simulation program is done according to the simulation program flow chart.Modular design and function classification processing are adopted to decrease the code repetition and optimize the simulation program. In the third. For the practicality of the interface design in the simulation platform,MFC is used to paging design. From the point of functions of the simulation parameters, the interface is divided into geometric modeling?material properties and impulse control, all kinds of input parameters and output results must be cleared and processed. In the last.Use the simulation platform to accomplish the test.
