With the concept of cloud printing proposed,more and more enterprises and scholars have paid more attention to it.In recent years,Google and HP have launched their own cloud printing platforms.However,the current cloud print system only provides print function for intelligent mobile devices or computer terminals.Recent researches take little consideration into the relationship between users and print shops,and they do not make full use of cloud computing.In this paper,an improved auction algorithm is proposed for cloud print system,with consideration of tolerance time and distance between users and print shops.Finally,simulation results show that the proposed approach has reliable performance and high accuracy.First,this paper establishes a matching model between the users and print shops.To solve the problems above,this paper establishes a matching model through the investigation and understanding of the cloud printing business.In the model,this paper fully considers some key factors,like the distance between the user and the print shop,printing queue time,and user's waiting time.Secondly,this paper proposes a novel auction algorithm to achieve the optimal matching between print tasks and shops.The main part of this algorithm uses the traditional auction algorithm,considering the distance between print shops and the users and task stack of the machine.Moreover,the constraints(e.g.,expected completion time,cut-off time and expected queuing time)are added to the design of this auction algorithm.Finally,this paper designs and implements the cloud print platform to achieve the print tasks intelligently assigned to the print shop.Combining the proposed model with the auction algorithm,this paper achieved a intelligent task allocation strategy in the system.Furthermore,high performances are shown in the print platform named “Print +”.
