Sensors with wireless technology play a vital role in the military for a range of applications such as surveillance and enemy tracking and force protection.Unlike commercial WSNs,a military tactical sensor network has different priority requirements for military use.Especially in battlefields,topology,automatic configuration,network connectivity,maintenance and power consumption are the challenges.This New technologies are a must for military usage by providing critical information quickly and reliably to the right person or organization at the right time.This improves the effectiveness of combat operations.New technologies must be quickly integrated into a complete architecture to meet current requirements.In battlefield,mobility environments is the main characteristic for the wireless network.Mobile ad-hoc network(MANET)topology can be deployed for communications among the soldiers in the field.Different military units are expected to communicate and cooperate with each other within a specified area.In these type of low mobility environments,MANET is developed to assure the communications between wireless devises where virtually no network infrastructure is available.To achieve this goal of performance with special features of military scenario,we have focus on sensor networks based on(MANETs)using new architecture of network called Named Data Networking that proposed an advancement shift from today's hostcentric network architecture(IP)to a data-centric network architecture.This research work explores routing protocol based on flooding control and information content centric(ICN)with a new paradigm network architecture branch named data networking to collect data among soldier troops,a more specific case of Device to Device where our nodes are soldiers handled a special military devises equipped with sensors and have ability to move arbitrarily,creating dynamic topologies.We have implemented our protocol design using an official simulator called ndn SIM that support NDN features and evaluate protocols with different node densities.Finally,the thesis finished by a general conclusion that highlights the advantage of our forwarding protocol and present some future directions.
