As an important way of human-computer interaction,gesture recognition is becoming more and more popular because of its natural immediacy and simplicity.The common gesture recognition technology is based on computer vision,which requires a high environmental background.However,the depth image acquired by the Kinect sensor can greatly improve this problem.This paper has designed a worktable control system based on Kinect equipment.The research contents are as follows:The gestures are collected and segmented,and then the direction of the hand motion trajectory is quantified to obtain a discrete direction value,and the discrete direction value is used as a trajectory feature of the gesture.The HMM algorithm in the statistical method is used for gesture training,and then the dynamic gestures are identified by analyzing the matching degree between the gesture trajectory features and the training sequence,and the actions of the hand,such as upwards,downwards,leftwards,and rightwards,can be recognized.In the hardware design of the workbench,Arduino is used as the core board.The dynamic gesture recognition is applied to the workbench control,and the dynamic gesture control function to the workbench is realized.Experiments are carried out in different environments.The average recognition rate is 85.3% in a well-lit environment and 82.7% in a dimly lit environment.The test results show that the system has completed the control of the intelligent table with high recognition rate.It is less affected by light and good stability and can meet the actual needs.This paper applies hand gesture recognition to the intelligent control workbench creatively.The system has the characteristics of convenient use,strong anti-interference ability and low cost.This kind of workbench can be widely used in intelligent home and industrial control and other fields,so as to facilitate people's operation and improve work efficiency.It is also possible to transform the workbench system into a logistics distribution car or a small car for special people,according to the demand.The system has good application prospect in real life.
