In recent years,The research base on LED(Light Emitting Diode)as Excitation light excitation phosphor became more popular.Among them White light source using semiconductor laser has the advantages of low energy consumption,small size,long life,etc.It is a strong contender for the next generation of lighting,It is of great significance to carry out research on it.This paper studies the use of blue semiconductor lasers with a wavelength of around 450 nm to excite YAG phosphors to synthesize white light.Mainly carried out the following research work.1.Under certain conditions of LD parameters,The effects of phosphor thickness and concentration on the white light color parameters were studied.Find the best value for the phosphor thickness and concentration needed to obtain high quality white light.2.The influence of different drive currents and different wavelengths on the chromaticity parameters of the light source was studied and analyzed.The results show that there is no significant change in the color coordinates,signification,and color temperature of the light source under different driving currents.When the wavelength is between 440 and 450 nm,the excitation efficiency of the light source increases first and then decreases.When the wavelength is around 448 nm,the optical properties of the light source are optimized.3.Using Tracepro's optical simulation software to simulate the effect of light source color characteristics and excitation efficiency with and without lens addition.Conclusion It is found that the thickness is about 1.0~1.02 mm and the concentration is about 12%~15% to obtain higher quality white light;Simulated the effect on the light color characteristics and excitation efficiency of the light source under the two energized models with and without lens;The conclusion shows that the color temperature and the luminous flux of the laser scattering model light source after the addition of the lens increase compared with the lensless;A package method of semiconductor laser white light source is designed,and a reflector cup is designed4.to improve the light color parameters of the light source.
