The deterioration of the environment,caused by the development of industrial and economic,especially the worst impacts of the water quality from the industrial sewage.Nowadays,water resources received more and more attention,the water environment can be better protected because of the government regulations,especially in water discharge.A new type of detecting equipment for water quality is developed in this paper for the improvement of the water quality detecting instrument.According to the various domestic and international instruments and the requirement developmentsand analyzing the flow injection technology for new type ofdetecting equipment,based on the microfluidic technologyby analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existingdetecting products,this paper presents a water quality detecting system which can be used for laboratory and factory to detectthe chemical oxygen demand and the ammonia-nitrogen.The chips are made by Teflon,and the processing improvement.The reaction channel is optimized by software simulation,which makes the consumption of the reagent much less than the standard method.The concentration of ammonia nitrogen can be detected within 5min for each simple,and COD for 8 min,the results can beachieved by changing the water sample and reading the measurement value continuously.The ammonia nitrogen and COD detection systems are respectively made of micro spectrograph and photocell system,which can be used for laboratory detection and industrial water quality detection.The spectrograph can directly detect the intensity of optical signals,with high accuracy,large volume and relatively high cost,which can meet the requirements of high precision detection.On the other hand,the optical cell system has the characteristics of small volume and low cost,which can meet the requirements of the general industrial water quality detection.In summary,this paper developed a new micro water quality detecting system,which can detect the chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen content in water accurately.Furthermore,this system spend less time in detecting water quality,reduce the instrument volume and the detecting costs.It provides new strategy fordetecting system of water quality.
