With China's rapid economic development, environmental pollution has become an increasingly serious problem,and water pollution is even more serious. Water pollution has a great harmful on human health. Ammonia is an important indicator in water pollution substances, and ammonia is second important indicator after the chemical oxygen demand (COD). It is an urgent problem to detect and monitor the ammonia emission. There are many on-line measurement methods on ammonia in china Such as, colorimetry, ammonia electrode method. However, these methods is the traditional chemical methods, which is slow, complicated, poor stability, costs high, and has secondary pollution because rely on additional drug. At present, the market appear an new method to measure ammonia, which is UV (Ultraviolet, UV) spectroscopy. This method converts the ammonia-nitrogen in water into ammonia (NH3), by measuring the concentration of ammonia to conclude the concentration of ammonia-nitrogen in water. This method applied to a variety of water such as river water, surface water and industrial effluent. This method has many advantages such as accurate, reliable, wide range, without relation of the sample color and turbidity. This method doesn't have secondary pollution. At present, UV spectroscopy ammonia on-line water analyzers are all imported in china market. So, the analyzers are urgent to localization.This article describes the main control system which control UV spectroscopy ammonia on-line water analyzer, and make a detailed analysis of the main control system's hardware design, software design, and the reliability of the analyzer. The main of thesis are as follows:1.Details of the UV spectroscopy ammonia on-line water analyzer's working principle, mechanical structure, optical structure.2.Completed the main control system hardware design.3.Completed the main control system software design.4.Analyze the mathematical algorithm of the UV spectroscopy ammonia on-line water analyzer.5.Through actual measurement of pollution water, verify the instrument's error, precision and reliability, and discussed the main control system's advantages and disadvantages.
