Design And Development Of Decision Support System For Typhoon Based On CBR

In recent years,many typhoons load on the coastal areas of our country continuously.Typhoon is a devastating weather which affects the safety of maritime security,destroys large areas of crops and buildings,and even causes a threat to lives and property of people.With the development of the information technology industry,people can make use of computer technology to analyze the typhoon cases occurred in recent years,construct a typhoon problem solving experience database,and design a decision support system for typhoon based on CBR.CBR(Case-Based Reasoning)is a learning mechanism and inference method in the field of artificial intelligence.The key idea is using the experience of solving old problems to solve new problems.This paper focuses on the design and development of decision support system for typhoon based on CBR.Firstly,we analysis the technology,economy and law needed for the typhoon decision system in detail,especially the core technology CBR.Then,we design the software for typhoon decision system by using CBR technology.We collect the information and solutions of typhoon cases,and build a rich database.When we input the detailed information of the new case,the similar historical cases will be presented to the user in order of similarity from large to small.The user can see the similar cases intuitively,and choose one solution to be the reference.Then they make appropriate changes according to the actual situation and save the final solution into the database to realize the reuse of the experience.Finally,we design a complete software testing plan to improve the quality of the program.After the testing,this system has friendly interface and simple operation.We complete the work of typhoon decision by using the CBR technology and provide a strong support for the decision-makers.
